My Greetings to C C Mathews Achen

This is a greeting I sent to Sts. Baselius Gregorios Orthodox Church, New Jersery that is celebrating the 85^th birthday and 60^th year of ordination of their vicar Rev. Fr. C. C. Mathews. My friendship with him is about two decades old. His life has been a motivation to many young people. I like his attitude to Church, liturgy and life of humans in this world. I was so glad that the parish asked me to send in my greetings. I wish him long and healthy life. I also greet Kochamma at this pleasant occasion.

NSS Silver Jubilee and Award Distribution

National Service Scheme Award Distribution, Inauguration of Silver Jubilee Celebrations, Inauguration of Jaiva Vaividhya Gardens Programme (I had to do this). The Meetings was chaired by Hon. Mayor of Thrissur Ms. Ajitha Jayaraj and Inaugurated by Hon. Minister Prof. C. Ravindranadh (a long time friend of mine). Dr. Jacob John (former principal of Catholicate Higher Secondary School is the State Co-Ordinator of NSS).

My Talk at the Acolytes Training

We in Thrissur Diocese bring in the Acolytes of the Churches in the diocese twice a year for refreshing their memory on how an Acolytes should do his duties in the Church. No one is allowed to be in the Altar if he does not attend at least one meeting in a year. We also have regular examinations conducted to refresh the memory of things in the Acolytes Handbook published by the diocese (this was recommended by the Holy Episcopal Synod for use in all dioceses and was distributed among Their Graces the Metropolitans.  Delhi diocese has reprinted it for to be used by their Acolytes). This was the second meeting of the year.
