I was invited to be the guest of honor at the Priestly Ordination of Rev. Dn. Jacob Thomas of Sharjah St. Gregorios Orthodox Church as a priest of the Thiruvananthapuram diocese of Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church. Mr. I Thomas of Abhudhabi St. George Orthodox Cathedral, the father-in-law of the deacon, invited me to the event. I participated in the Holy Eucharist conducted by His Grace Dr. Gabriel Mar Gregorios of Thiruvananthapuram diocese and later in the ordination service also (21-5-23). Several years back I happened to take the newly ordained Rev. Fr. Jacob Thomas to the Holy altar at the Sharjah Church as an Altar Assistant. I also taught him at the St. Thomas Orthodox Theological seminary.
