My Web Site Launched

I am happy announce the launching of a web site in my name with the address yuhanonmeletius.org which was inaugurated and made public on 26th January 2015. This was created by Mr. Saji George from New Jersey, USA of SaberCloud Solutions.LLC, a member of Sts. Baselius-Gregorios Orthodox Church, Plainfield New Jersey. Mr. Sibi John Mathew in UAE and Mrs. Seena Abraham in New York also contributed to the making of the site. The inauguration was done in my office. Mr. Saji George, Mrs. Seena Abraham, my personal secretary Rev. Fr. Poly Varghese and my office manager Mr. Geevarghese P.A. were at the function. The site is launched in Beta version and I would call all my friend for their suggestions to make the site even better. There a lot of files and folders in the process of being added to the site. So be patient with me. My wordpress blog (yuhanonmilitos.wordpress.com) will continue to be in use for a while until this site is fully loaded.
At this point I wish to thank profusely Mr. Saji George for his untiring hard work, which is an expression of his love towards me, in making this site. I also thank Mrs. Seena Abraham and Mr. Sibi John for their help in this matter. Thank you well in advance for visiting the site and for any suggestion you may have. My Visit to Miracle Garden DUBAI

I was in Shariah for few days on my way back from US with my brother and my cousins and their families. I had New Year service at St. Thomas Orthodox Cathedral, Dubai and participated in OCYM UAE region meet at Ras-Al-Khaima. My brother took me to this wonderful garden in Dubai on the New Year day. Here is a non-professional’s videos and snaps from my day. The snaps are from my brother Mr. Santhosh Markose.
Miracle Garden, Dubai is located in Dubailand near the Arabian Ranches and opened on Valentine’s Day. This garden contains over 45 million flowers over a 72,000 square meter site Along with traditional flowerbeds; it features topiary-style displays with blooms fashioned into the shapes of hearts, stars, igloos, pyramids and so on. It is still in the making and many more to come. Floral displays will change according to season. Waste water is used to water the plants through drip irrigation. There are coffee and snack shops in the garden. The garden is open from 10 am till 10 pm. This will be closed to visitors from May to October. Entry fee is 20 Dhs for adults and children above 3.

Church Dispute Settled

I want to share a happy news with you. St. George Orthodox Church at Vattully, near Chelakkara in Thrissur district in our diocese was closed for worship due the factional dispute in our Church for the last 40 years. There were civil and criminal cases pending on the matter. We initiated dialogue with the Patriarch group and have come to a conclusion that they will take some money, will give up all claims on the Church and will agree to settle all pending cases. We gave them Rupees 1,250,000 and some fifty cents of land along with right to the cemetery as part of the agreement. We got the Church and its premise along with right to the cemetery. The agreement was brought to the civil authorities and they have handed over the Church to us. Of course it needs a lot of repair work, but God willing, we will have regular service commencing from next month. I visited the Church on Jan 8th 2015 with our vicar Rev. Fr. Baby Paul, trustees and few parishioner. The vicar and a couple of lay leaders from the Patriarch group came to the Church to greet us. We prayed together, cut a cake and shared it to mark the happy moment. That was a memorable moment for all of us as it was after 45 years a bishop was entering the Church.
